Regional Director Supply chain and Logistics

As the strategic regional interface between our Headquarters and the Subsidiaries, the Supply Chain and Logistics Director operates as a pivotal matrix leader. The role drives regional demand planning, replenishment, and RDC order execution to optimize inventory levels and maximize OTIF performance. Success in this position requires the ability to navigate and collaborate effectively within a complex matrix business environment, aligning diverse stakeholder interests to drive regional excellence.

This is how you WOW:

• Develop and implement the regional supply chain and logistics strategy, ensuring alignment with global corporate objectives (AKW, Germany) and regional commercial goals through effective matrix management.
• Lead the strategic adaptation of the Supply Chain department to thrive in the company's complex multi-channel environment.
• Champion continuous improvement and process standardization across all functions, defining and monitoring KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, service levels, to achieve company-wide quality standards.
• Orchestrate the regional E2E supply chain, integrating all processes to optimize service levels, inventory turnover, and cost-efficiency across the entire value chain.
• Is responsible for regional demand planning, driving forecast accuracy and strategic inventory management for all internal (central, branches) and external (3PL) warehouse locations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the department's leadership team, including the Heads of Logistics, and Warehouse operations, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Ensure the integrity and strategic governance of critical departmental data, including material master data and customer information within the CRM/database.
• Manage the regional Supply chain costs, by realising operational and logistic optimalisation.

• Proven experience working in a matrix organization, successfully delivering results through influence, cross-functional collaboration, and effective navigation of global and regional reporting lines.
• Has worked with RDC Logistic Service Provider, monitoring the logistics performance: (OTIF, availability, forecast accuracy, stock days, distribution rate)
• Experience with Google Environment is preferred and an open mindset to further digitalisation with AI.
• Great collaboration skills and positive mindset
• Service oriented, articulate and able to present a professional image
• Availability to travel around 40% of time
