Full time Bachelor, Master Eindhoven As an Electronics Designer power supplies, you design advanced electrical solutions for high-tech systems and products.

In this role, you support our customers with electrical concept and design for high-tech systems where accuracy, power, and efficiency play an important part. You’ll work for renowned customers in the Analytical, Semicon and Medical market, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your electronics expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, like electron microscopes, advanced pick & place machines, and medical systems. We develop advanced systems where we must get the utmost performance out of electronics, both in accuracy, power, and efficiency. Our electronics team has expertise in the development and industrialization of precise and stable high voltage sources, low noise analog electronics, highly accurate and fast AD/DA conversion, and high-speed digital electronics.

As Electronics Designer you:

  • Are eager to develop yourself in the power electronics and high-voltage domain
  • Are responsible for the design, development and integration of electronic designs within precision equipment.
  • Focus on electronic accuracy and exceptional stability of power supplies
  • Address multidisciplinary aspects like power- and high-voltage designs, including mechanical integration, thermal management, and E-fields.
  • Enjoy working in a team and getting the maximum out of it together.
  • Have variety, by working on one or multiple projects simultaneously and working on different technologies for various applications and markets.
  • Guide colleagues and junior engineers in their projects and coach them to further develop their (technical) talents. With your experience, you contribute to expanding the knowledge within Sioux

This is what you bring to the table

  • A degree in electronics or electrical engineering and at least 5 years of work experience
  • Several years of experience in high voltage system design and development (high precision, low power and high stability) is a plus
  • Understanding of safety practices and relevant electronics standards (IEC 61010 and IEC 62368) is a plus
  • Understanding of partial discharge effects and insulation reliability in high-voltage precision systems is a plus
  • Experience with simulation and analysis of circuits in precision electronic equipment (e.g. using SPICE-based tools)
  • Demonstrable analytical skills, able to think in concepts and good practical skills (build and measure prototypes)
  • Excellent communication skills, both with internal stakeholders and with customers and suppliers This is what you can expect in return from Sioux
