We are looking for an S&OP Promotion Planner to join our Sales & Operations Planning team within Supply Chain. In this role, you will be responsible for running, managing, improving, and influencing the S&OP process for promotions, helping us create the best possible demand forecast for timely and optimal availability of our products across all lines of business and countries. You will own the end-to-end planning of promotional demand and play an important role in improving how we forecast, plan and execute promotions across the business. Working at the intersection of Supply Chain, Marketing and Business teams, you will help improve forecast quality, increase planning agility, and ensure promotions are planned with the right level of detail and governance. This is a role for someone who combines strong commercial planning instincts with a tech-savvy mindset. You will translate business needs into improved demand planning processes and help embed them into new ERP and planning tools. Along the way, you will build strong cross-functional relationships and bring clarity to a dynamic planning environment. You will report to the Sr S&OP Manager and be part of the S&OP team within our Supply Chain department.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the promotion demand plan, including volume and cannibalization or substitution assumptions, for agreed markets and categories.
  • Lead the promotion planning cadence as part of the S&OP cycle and align assumptions across functions.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to business teams by influencing stakeholders and challenging decisions with relevant analyses.
  • Collaborate in the weekly promotion meeting with Marketing and Supply Chain stakeholders, including preparation, data validation, reporting, documentation and follow-up of action points.
  • Track forecast accuracy for promotions, translate learnings into improvements, and strengthen future planning quality.
  • Drive demand planning process design for promotions and support requirements, testing, reporting and adoption in new ERP and planning tools.

Bring all of you

We are looking for someone who brings both analytical strength and a collaborative mindset. You are comfortable working in a complex stakeholder environment and know how to turn data into clear insights and practical actions. You enjoy improving ways of working and can move easily between strategic process design and operational execution. At the same time, you stay curious, pragmatic and structured in how you approach challenges. If you feel energised by cross-functional collaboration and shaping better planning decisions, this role could be a meaningful next step.

To be successful in this role, you:

  • Bring at minimum 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, Promotion Planning or Commercial Planning, preferably within retail, FMCG or consumer goods. (note this is not a senior role, but one where you can grow!)
  • Have experience in designing or improving demand planning processes, with promotion forecasting as a plus.
  • Work confidently with ERP or planning tool implementations or upgrades and can translate business needs into functional requirements.
  • Have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with data and reporting, including advanced Excel, while experience with Power BI, SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Are proactive, structured, improvement-driven, and able to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
