everox ’s-Gravendeel B.V. is developing a first-of-a-kind industrial facility that transforms waste concrete into high-value, low-carbon construction materials. Together with Dura Vermeer, we are bringing circular concrete technology from pilot scale to commercial reality.
About the position
As Construction Manager, you will be the key person on site during the execution phase. You will turn plans into safe, coordinated and high-quality construction work by managing daily site activities, aligning subcontractors and technical disciplines, keeping materials and equipment moving, and ensuring progress stays on track. You will work closely with the Overall Project Manager and Civil Works Project Manager, while maintaining a sharp focus on safety, quality, schedule, budget and compliance with all applicable permit requirements.
This role is ideal for a pragmatic, safety-minded construction professional who enjoys being close to the work, solving problems quickly, and bringing structure to a dynamic construction site.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure work is executed according to budget and schedule.
- Proactively report schedule, budget, safety or quality deviations to the Overall Project Manager and help define practical recovery actions.
- Lead the day-to-day supervision of structural steel assembly and mechanical equipment installation activities.
- Coordinate daily with the Civil Works Project Manager and other technical disciplines.
- Ensure the availability of materials, labor, and equipment, and manage site logistics.
- Oversee subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to agreements.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance with design specifications.
- Ensure construction activities comply with all applicable permit conditions, environmental requirements, and site-specific obligations.
- Identify and troubleshoot site-related challenges, escalating issues where necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
- Track and report progress, risks, and issues to the Overall Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Support site inspections, documentation, and readiness for commissioning.
- Create a professional, well-organized site environment where teams know what is expected and can work safely and efficiently.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager or Field Supervisor in industrial, civil or heavy construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and operational workflows.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel and mechanical equipment assembly.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and daily on-site coordination.
- Lives at commuting distance of ’s-Gravendeel as daily presence on-site is required.
- Valid VCA-VOL and GPI is required.
- Experience working under permit conditions and ensuring construction activities remain compliant with applicable environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in promoting and improving workplace safety and able to raise safety awareness.
- Hands-on, calm under pressure and comfortable making practical decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a strong plus.

Pay: €95,00 - €105,00 per hour
