Hardware Eindhoven, The Netherlands 22 July 2026 Procurement plays a central role in the success of our products and business. As Procurement Manager – Hardware, you will own the sourcing and supplier strategy for key hardware and electronic components used in our broadband solutions. You will become the go-to expert for procurement, partnering closely with Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, and Operations to influence supplier decisions, costs, availability, and product competitiveness.

You enjoy building long-term supplier partnerships, understanding global markets, and identifying opportunities to create value through smart sourcing decisions. Finding the right supplier, negotiating the best long-term deal, and continuously improving our product proposition motivates you.

The Procurement Manager – Hardware reports to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).

What you will be doing

• Build, manage, and develop strategic supplier relationships across Asia and Europe.Lead sourcing activities for telecom, broadband, and electronic hardware components, including chips, memory, and assemblies.
• Drive cost reduction and value improvement initiatives through strong supplier collaboration.Own RFI/RFQ processes, supplier selection, negotiations, and commercial agreements.
• Analyze BOM costs, cost drivers, supplier economics, and should-cost models.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity and resilience.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to shape product competitiveness.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analysis, scenario planning, decision-making, and procurement productivity.

Your experience and skills

• 8+ years of procurement experience within telecom, broadband, electronics, or hardware manufacturing.
• Proven experience with supplier management, international sourcing, and contract negotiations.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with experience in cost modelling and value-chain analysis.
• Hands-on experience working with suppliers, factories, and engineering teams.
• Ability to balance strong negotiation skills with relationship building: hard on content, soft on people.
• A proactive, ownership-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement and practical solutions.
• Confidence working independently while influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

Other requirements

• HBO degree, preferably a technical education
• Nevi 2 (or equivalent) by education or experience
• Fluent English, spoken and written. Mandarin language is a plus
• High interest in working with different cultures, in which Asian culture is of special importance for Genexis
• Willingness and ability to travel multiple times per year, within the EU and globally (e.g., the Far East)
• Above average Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills
• Contracts, quotations, RFI and RFQ processes
• Eager on developing, proposing and implementing AI-driven ways of working
• ErP software (Jeeves is a plus)
