As an ILS Training & Training Support Engineer, you will design the training solutions that enable customers to safely operate, maintain, and support Destinus products throughout their lifecycle. What You'll Do* Conduct Training Needs Analysis activities to identify operator, maintainer, and support personnel training requirements

  • Develop and maintain Training Support Plans aligned with program objectives and customer support requirements
  • Design operator and maintainer training concepts, qualification frameworks, and training strategies
  • Perform mission, job, and task analyses to define required knowledge, skills, and competencies
  • Create learning objectives, course structures, training pathways, and curriculum frameworks
  • Develop instructional strategies, assessment methods, and training media requirements
  • Produce and maintain high quality training materials including lesson plans, presentations, student guides, practical exercises, and assessment content
  • Define requirements for simulators, training aids, emulated systems, and digital learning technologies
  • Support the development of classroom, simulator based, and digital learning solutions
  • Ensure training products remain aligned with engineering designs, maintenance concepts, technical publications, and supportability requirements
  • Maintain traceability between engineering data, maintenance requirements, and training deliverables
  • Assess the impact of engineering changes and configuration updates on training materials and learning programs
  • Support training effectiveness assessments and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle
  • Provide technical guidance to internal teams responsible for training delivery and customer support
  • Contribute to proposals, bids, and new programs by defining training requirements, estimates, and support concepts
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Technical Publications, Supply Support, Logistics Support Analysis, and In-Service Support teams to deliver fully integrated support solutions
  • Help improve training processes, standards, templates, and best practices across the organization while supporting the adoption of S6000T methodologies

Requirements

What You'll Need* Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Defense Technology, Human Factors, Education Technology, Instructional Design, or a related discipline

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in training development, instructional systems design, Integrated Logistics Support, aerospace support engineering, military training systems, or a related field
  • Understanding of Training Needs Analysis, curriculum development, and instructional design methodologies
  • Knowledge of the ADDIE training lifecycle including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Familiarity with competency based training, learning objectives, and assessment strategies
  • Ability to translate engineering, operational, and maintenance information into effective learning solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Experience within aerospace, defense, UAV, military training, or other high technology industries is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ASD S6000T and broader Integrated Logistics Support methodologies is an advantage
  • Experience developing classroom, simulator based, computer based, or blended learning solutions is a plus
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and digital learning environments is beneficial
  • Understanding of Logistics Support Analysis, maintenance concepts, and lifecycle support principles is considered an advantage
