Functional D365 SCM Consultant

Job Description

• Our European Supply Chain Hub is seeking a talented and innovative Agentic D365 Supply Chain Management Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a functional consultant on D365 SCM implementation projects, with a strong focus on leveraging AI-driven capabilities to enhance business processes and supply chain operations. You will also collaborate closely with AVA’s global innovation team, contributing to the development and adoption of agentic AI solutions across the organization.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in D365 SCM and a demonstrated ability to apply AI technologies in real-world business scenarios. Combining functional consulting expertise with a passion for innovation, you will help customers and internal stakeholders unlock new value through intelligent, AI-enabled supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Possess skills to incorporate AI technologies in the solutions that AVA delivers to our clients
• Develop functional specification designs including definition of functional requirements and business scenarios
• Drive the effective transition of requirements to delivery and technical consultants, ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements for a successful delivery to the end customer
• Execute test cases for the developed solution components and verify the results

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree required in an AI related field
• Experience working in core logistical business processes such as Sales, Procurement, Trade & logistics, and Inventory Management.
• Must be able to manage time, prioritize and communicate commitments
• Must have strong client and internal communication skills with experience working in highly collaborative teams
• Must be able to produce specific examples of work product (functional requirements, design, output, test plans, etc.)
• Motivated to travel frequently outside the Netherlands
• Prior consulting experience preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management is preferred
• Experience in Production and Master Planning is preferred
