Group Tax Specialist – Build and Shape BEWI’s Tax Function

At BEWI, we are on an exciting growth journey, and we are now looking for someone to establish and develop our Group Tax function. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of tax across the group. You will play a key role in ensuring strong tax compliance across the group while also contributing to strategic decisions and M & A activities. Main responsibilities Establish and maintain transfer pricing frameworks, including transfer pricing principles and documentation Establish and maintain Country-by-Country reporting, including principles, processes and documentation Establish and maintain Pillar II reporting, including principles, processes and documentation Develop and implement a Group Tax Compliance Policy. Ensure a structured system for monitoring adherence across countries Coordinate corporate income tax matters, primarily in Sweden & Norway Together with Group Accounting and Head of Group Finance analyze the group’s tax position and identify opportunities to optimize the group structure from a tax perspective Support the group’s growth journey by contributing to M&A processes. Provide input on scope of tax due diligence. Assessment of tax risks identified. Advise on structuring transaction together with Group Finance & coordinate input from local tax advisors Act as the central contact for tax matters at Group level. Collaborate with local finance teams and controllers, external tax advisors and consultants and build strong relationships across countries and functions What We’re Looking for: Probably a tax lawyer or business graduate with an interest in tax law Experience as a tax consultant from an audit firm, or a larger tax consultancy firm for at least 4 years Experience of Transfer pricing and/or Pillar II Strong communication skills – both written and oral (English) Knowledge of accounting is an advantage Personal Qualities: Ability to work effectively across countries and cultures Proactive and comfortable in taking ownership Able to combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on and a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills Why Join BEWI? The Insulation & Construction (I&C) segment manufactures an extensive range of solutions for insulation and infrastructure, as well as systems for the building and construction industry.

The Packaging & Components (P&C) segment Division manufactures standard and customised solutions for many industrial sectors, including boxes for transportation of fish and other foods, protective packaging for fine goods, as well as technical and automotive components.

The Automotive segment manufactures and develops customised, lightweight parts and components of EPP for the automotive and logistics industries.

The Circular segment is responsible for collecting and recycling of used material. The segment offers different solutions for waste management and a range of recycled materials.

Every day we provide insulating building systems to the construction industry, a step in reducing CO2 emissions and reaching climate reduction targets. We produce 50 million fish boxes each year, ensuring safe transport of 3 billion meals and reducing food waste. 6 million vehicles produced last year include components from BEWI, for excellent protection and safer journeys. Last year, we collected and recycled almost 40.000 tons of expanded polystyrene (EPS), equal to approximately 50 million fish boxes. Equipping employees for the future is a key priority for us. Our BEWI Business School trains many (future) leaders every year! Today, BEWI group has 60 facilities (76 including minorities) in 13 European countries, and approximately 2900 dedicated employees.
