We are a company specialized in the manufacturing of components for electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles. We have the support of 4,000 employees across 6 countries, operating in 13 production units and 3 engineering centers to serve more than 100 clients.

At Draxton, we are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for executing the commercial strategy across the short, medium, and long term, ensuring optimal capacity utilization while supporting the sustainable growth of the business. You will manage key customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through compliance with established policies and procedures, while leveraging global synergies across the organization whenever applicable. Your contribution will be essential to strengthening customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing value for both customers and the company. This position reports directly to the Commercial Director.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute customer-specific commercial strategiesaligned with the company's short-, medium-, and long-term business objectives.
  • Manage key customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and building long-term relationships with decision-makers at different organizational levels.
  • Lead commercial activities including RFQs, RFIs, contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and the management of commercial agreements.
  • Identify new business opportunities, monitor market trends, and maintain a strong project pipeline to support sustainable growth and capacity utilization.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, annual budgets, account reviews, and customer performance reports, leveraging data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Quality, and other departments to ensure successful project execution and customer support.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in the automotive industrywithin Sales, Operations, or Purchasing functions; with mandatory experience in the foundry industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive and commercial vehicle industries.
  • Experience in commercial negotiations, key account management, and customer relationship development.
  • Proficiency in English and German at a professional business level.
  • Established network and portfolio of German customers is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of APQP, quality systems, financial analysis, CRM tools, ERP systems (Oracle or similar), and Microsoft Office.
