We are looking for an energetic, passionate, and customer-focused Technical and Sales Application Engineer to join our newly formed team of two colleagues in Gothenburg, supporting the Scandinavian market.

The biggest challenge and the main task on this position is knowledge of ComAp products and tools, ability to use them, configure and program them in various situations.

In this role, you will provide technical support for a wide range of ComAp control systems and solutions across multiple industries including engine control, hybrid systems, marine, bi-fuel, and Genset Control (GSC).

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Turn-key projects – inspection, installation, commissioning, and configuration of ComAp control systems, including PLC algorithms

Providing technical support to customers (service trips, training sessions, assistance with configuration for pilot projects, etc.)

Troubleshooting, investigating, and solving complex technical issues using simulators and real-world applications

Creating and reviewing wiring diagrams, schematics, and application documentation

Working closely with the sales manager and supporting sales activities during customer meetings and business trips

Conducting in-house and on-site training for new and existing customers

Traveling to support projects and build relationships with customers across Scandinavia

What we expect from you:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience

3+ years of experience in a similar technical role

Familiarity with PLCs or microprocessor-based controls, programming logic, and industrial applications

Ability to think analytically and propose innovative technical solutions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly within the Scandinavian region

Fluency in English
