NOOK Concept Cafe We are looking for a Pastry / Production Lead to manage daily preparation in our obrador for a takeaway coffee and handheld food concept in central Barcelona. This is not a restaurant kitchen. The focus is on: High- quality pastry preparationAssembly of handheld bakery sandwichesBatch productionEfficient prep workflowResponsibilities: Daily pastry and baked goods productionPreparation of fillings and proteins for handheld itemsManaging ingredient stock and orderingMaintaining hygiene and food safety standardsWorking closely with the founders to develop new productsMinimizing food waste and controlling production levelsProfile: Experience in bakery, pastry, or café productionComfortable working independently in a small teamOrganized and cleanExperience with ovens and batch productionSpanish required, English a plusThis role is key in building the food identity of the brand.

Requisitos

We are looking for a production- oriented pastry professional who is comfortable working in an obrador environment focused on batch preparation and takeaway products. The ideal candidate: Has experience in pastry, bakery, or café productionIs comfortable working independently and managing daily prep tasksHas experience with ovens, dough handling, and basic pastry techniquesUnderstands food safety and hygiene standardsIs organized and efficient in managing prep and stockCan follow recipes and maintain consistencyHas a practical mindset and can minimize food wasteExperience in takeaway concepts, bakery production kitchens, or specialty food environments is highly valued.
