ERP Application Specialist – Microsoft Dynamics 365

Palsgaard is in the midst of a major transformation of its business processes and ERP landscape.

Having successfully established our global Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) template and completed the first go-live activities and pilot rollouts, we are now entering the next phase of our journey: rolling out the solution across our global organization (6 production sites, 7 Warehouse sites and 15 Finance sites).

To strengthen our Application Management team, we are looking for an ERP Application Specialist who will play a key role in the continued rollout, governance, support, and development of our global D365FO platform.

As one of our D365FO specialists, you will work closely with colleagues from IT, Business Process Owners, key users, and external implementation partners to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement of the platform across Palsgaard.

Your Responsibilities

As ERP Application Specialist, you will become a key member of the global application team and contribute to both project activities and long-term application ownership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the global rollout of D365FO across Palsgaard's production sites and sales subsidiaries.
• Acting as a key contributor in maintaining and developing the global D365FO template in close collaboration with Business Process Owners.
• Driving successful implementation of business requirements through scoping, analysis, solution design, testing, implementation, and operational handover.
• Providing functional expertise and strategic advice on how to best utilize D365FO and the broader Microsoft Dynamics platform.
• Working closely with external implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of rollouts, projects, and enhancements.
• Providing second-line support to project teams and business users.
• Taking ownership of one or more integrations to ISV solutions and third-party applications, depending on your interests and technical competencies.
• Supporting the rollout of D365FO across all Palsgaard subsidiaries as they transition to the global platform.
• Participating in user training and knowledge transfer together with business super users and local key users.
• Participating in the management, testing, and implementation of Microsoft's continuous updates and new features.
• Contributing to the ongoing optimization of business processes and ensuring that D365FO supports Palsgaard's strategic objectives.

You will report to the global IT Director and be part of Palsgaard’s global IT department, which is located in Juelsminde, and consists of 16 colleagues. Here, you will experience a flexible workday with the possibility of working from home. Some travel activities are expected of the role. Palsgaard places strong emphasis on creating a good working environment, in which collaboration and continuous development are key factors.

What We Are Looking For

You have a relevant technical or IT-oriented education but most importantly you have experience supporting businesses within manufacturing and/or finance. Furthermore, you have knowledge of systems/work processes in other business applications such as MES, CRM, document management, quality systems, etc. We imagine that you have experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and enjoy bridging business needs with technology solutions.

Ideally, you bring:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO).
• Strong understanding of ERP-supported business processes.
• Experience participating in ERP implementations, global rollouts, or transformation programs.
• The ability to translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across both business and IT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
