Vielfältige Aufgaben

Be part of an exciting new Digital Trading Team at EnBW Trading, where we are building state-of-the-art platforms and infrastructure to accelerate digital, quantitative, and automated trading across energy markets.A wide range of tasks

• Design and implement a cross-asset algorithmic execution framework for power, gas and related energy products, ensuring a consistent front-to-back trading approach.
• Engineer a real-time backtesting and simulation environment on top of event stream sequencing, closely partnering with existing power and gas trading desks.
• Develop a generic Order Management System (OMS) for EnBW Trading, integrating pricing, risk and execution workflows in highly electronic energy markets.
• Integrate market data, vendor execution APIs and, over time, direct market connectivity, collaborating with quants, embedded developers and group technology functions.
• Build UI components and monitoring tools for algo oversight, order placement, market interaction, real-time position services and digital algo risk management.

Überzeugendes Profil

Convincing profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronic trading, ideally in energy, commodities or cross-asset algo trading environments.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing pricing, risk management and order management systems in real-time, event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of event stream sequencing and experience operating and supporting franchise pricing / execution platforms.
• Solid engineering skills for real-time infrastructure (APIs, data feeds, execution gateways), with a product mindset and high ownership.
• Collaborative, pragmatic team player who enjoys working with traders, quants and technologists in a friendly, high-performance energy trading culture.

EnBW's Trading business unit is EnBW's central market access point to the energy markets. We are active in key European markets and on international energy exchanges. Our Trading unit is responsible for the optimal management of EnBW's portfolio, is active in the trading of renewable energies and thus supports the Energiewende. We are also involved in future topics such as hydrogen or smart& digital in trading, as well as in new supply contracts and the management of renewable energies. EnBW's Business Unit Trading operates with an international team with employees from more than 30 nations, represented at 4 European locations: Germany, England, Norway and Switzerland.
