YOU WORK FOR WE®

Based on analysis and the latest trends, our Buying, Design & Merchandising departments work together to develop the latest Kidswear collections. As Assistant Buyer, you support your Buying team so that you produce these collections in the best possible way, at the right price, from the right suppliers with the right planning. In order to do this, we also travel to European or Asian countries to see with our own eyes what colors or fabrics are used and whether socially responsible work is being done.

As Assistant Buyer, you will ensure efficient execution of all purchasing activities and purchasing tasks. As part of this, you check purchase orders for correctness and make sure they are entered into our purchasing system. In addition, during fitting sessions you prepare the comments for the production samples for the (international) suppliers and you also regularly communicate with them. As icing on the cake you weekly prepare the Top-Flop presentation and offer support in analyzing the sales results of our Kidswear collections.

Where you make impact:

• You have a completed bachelor's degree and have gained experience within a buying department in the fashion industry, for example through an internship or your first professional role.
• You bring structure, maintain oversight and know how to prioritise effectively, even when managing multiple tasks at the same time.
• You work accurately, have a strong eye for detail and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
• You have a passion for fashion, stay on top of trends and know how to translate them into commercial opportunities.
• You are curious, eager to learn and enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic retail environment.
