A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Manager (f/m/d) Offshore Automation, you will lead complex international automation projects from the tender phase through engineering, execution, testing, commissioning, and final customer handover. You will be responsible for project delivery, including schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management, while driving standardization, operational excellence, and project profitability. In addition, you will leverage your automation expertise and project management experience to introduce digital tools, AI-supported ways of working, and modern collaboration methods that enhance project performance and execution quality. How You’ll Make an Impact* End-to-end responsibility for Offshore Automation sub-projects, including project execution, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction

  • Coordination and stakeholder management across customers, engineering, commissioning, suppliers, consortium partners, and international project teams
  • Management of contractual, technical, commercial, and project-specific requirements to ensure alignment, compliance, and successful delivery
  • Proactive governance of project risks, opportunities, claims, changes, and deviations throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Implementation of standardized and modular automation solutions to enhance quality, efficiency, scalability, and project profitability
  • Continuous improvement of project execution through digital tools, data-driven transparency, AI-supported methods, and standardized processes, governance, and collaboration models What You Bring* Technical degree or professional qualification in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, substantial project management experience gained through vocational career paths
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PM@Siemens or IPMA) combined with extensive experience in managing complex technical projects in automation, energy, infrastructure, offshore, or comparable industries
  • Expertise in international project management with multiple stakeholders, demanding customers, and complex execution interfaces
  • Strong knowledge of automation and control systems, software-based solutions, engineering processes, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Commercial and project governance competence, including budget management, cost forecasting, profitability control, as well as risk, claim, change, schedule, and resource management
  • High international mobility, excellent English communication skills, and a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset with a strong interest in digitalization, AI, automation trends, and intercultural teamwork About the Team
