Sole Engineer - 39m SY - Rotation or 90 days leave

We are seeking an Engineer to join a beautiful 39m modern classic sailing yacht. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in maintaining a high standard across all systems.

This is a well-run dual-season private program, cruising the Mediterranean during the summer, the Caribbean in the winter, with a selection of regattas throughout the year. The yacht runs with a crew of five, offering a close-knit and professional working environment where a positive attitude and genuine passion for sailing are highly valued.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in engines, hydraulics and electrical/electronic systems, with the confidence to manage the day-to-day operation of the engine room. The role would suit either a strong Second Engineer looking to step up into their first sole engineer position, or someone already running an engine room on a similar-sized sailing yacht.

The yacht is looking for someone who is proactive, practical and eager to continue developing their qualifications. While the minimum requirement is AEC2, candidates working towards higher engineering tickets will be viewed favourably. Engine Kw onboard is 352.

Qualifications required: Minimum AEC2, sail yacht experience is a must
