For the Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) department, we are looking for a Test Engineer who will contribute to the verification and validation of advanced satellite components and subsystems.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, executing, analysing, and documenting technical tests to ensure products meet strict quality, reliability, and performance requirements before delivery to international space programmes.

You will work closely with engineers, project teams, and technical specialists to solve challenges, improve testing processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-tech products.

As a Test Engineer, you will:

  • Prepare and execute functional and qualification tests on complex technical components and subsystems
  • Support verification and validation activities throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Analyse test results and create clear technical reports and documentation
  • Investigate technical issues and collaborate with engineering teams to find solutions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the testing and production environment
  • Work on multiple international engineering projects simultaneously

Qualifications

You are a structured and analytical engineer who enjoys working in a high-tech environment where precision and quality are essential.

You bring:

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineerin Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Approximately 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience working in a technical, manufacturing, testing, or high-tech environment
  • Experience with CAD tools
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • A proactive mindset with a strong focus on quality and problem-solving

Experience within aerospace, space technology, or complex manufacturing environments is considered a strong advantage.
