A Strategic Opportunity in a Dynamic Industry

The livestock sector is currently experiencing significant transformation, driven by legislative changes and evolving societal expectations regarding animal welfare and sustainable husbandry. We view these developments as opportunities for innovation. Through our expertise in biosecurity and hygiene management, we empower our clients to optimize operational results. We have developed comprehensive programs—collectively referred to as HyCare—designed to mitigate unhygienic conditions and curtail the prevalence of disease and infection. Adhering to the philosophy that “prevention is paramount,” our initiatives encompass water quality management, pest control, yield optimization, sanitation protocols, and rigorous biosecurity measures. With an increasing number of swine, poultry, and cattle producers adopting the HyCare methodology, we consistently observe superior outcomes: improved animal health, enhanced product quality, and reduced operational losses. We invite you to join us in scaling the impact of the HyCare program.

What are you going to do?

We are seeking a specialist for our swine division to be embedded within one of Spain’s largest pig production cooperatives, situated in the Galicia region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a dedicated biosecurity and hygiene coach and subject matter expert, acting as the primary liaison between Schippers, farm personnel, veterinary teams, and organizational management.
  • Collaborating with clients to monitor project progress, offering expert guidance, and maintaining a critical, proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational inefficiencies.
  • Maintaining a commitment to continuous professional development, leveraging our E-learning curricula, peer-to-peer knowledge transfer, and practical training at our facilities.
  • Facilitating a deeper understanding among clients regarding the advantages of the HyCare concept and the inherent value of our associated solutions.

What we are looking for?

  • Possession of an advanced qualification in agricultural studies or a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
  • Comprehensive practical knowledge of animal husbandry operations.
  • Strong analytical and communication capabilities, essential for navigating the partnership between Schippers and our client.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively and diplomatically with farm personnel.
  • Proven capacity for sound, independent decision-making.
  • A results-oriented mindset, focused on achieving and maintaining measurable outcomes (dashboards)
  • Willingness to relocate to the Galicia area.
  • Proficiency in the English language.

What we offer?

  • A substantial professional opportunity within a high-growth, dynamic organization.
  • A long-term employment contract, encompassing a variety of fixed-term projects.
  • The stability of a reputable company with a distinguished history and a visionary future.
  • An independent and challenging role, offering an attractive performance-based bonus structure in addition to a competitive salary package.
  • Company-provided vehicle and accommodation.
  • Extensive opportunities for professional development and career progression within an international corporate environment.
  • Immediate start.
