About the Role

Hutchi is looking for an experienced Senior AV Project Manager to take ownership of multiple complex AV projects from planning through to delivery. You'll lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction — all while managing stakeholder engagement across the full project lifecycle.

This is a senior, customer-facing role: you'll be the key point of contact for your projects, mentoring junior team members and leading by example within the AV Projects team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborating with Sales, TechDev, Design, Procurement and Warehouse teams to deliver each project
• Developing a clear project plan for every project in your portfolio, based on scopes of work from site contractors, ensuring customer and end-user expectations are aligned
• Mitigating delivery risks through forward planning
• Arranging procurement of project materials via the Purchasing team
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring execution quality meets or exceeds customer expectations
• Ensuring projects are delivered to Hutchi's quality standards
• Owning customer technical expectations, monitoring the customer experience throughout, and securing project delivery sign-off
• Leading professional, competent customer communications from project start to completion
• Acting as the customer's key contact for project execution, maintaining a shared understanding of the delivery programme and any project variations
• Leading each project collaboratively and decisively, sharing knowledge openly and living Hutchi's values — taking ownership, delivering for customers, being innovative, and leading with a one-team mentality
• Equipping each project team member with the documentation, tools, equipment, materials and contacts they need to deliver effectively
• Providing clear, timely performance feedback to the project delivery team
• Engaging respectfully with all project stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with site health and safety requirements
• Communicating any site environmental issues to the project team
• Managing project costs against plan and within company profitability margins
• Maintaining the 'cost to complete' document accurately, enabling Finance and the Head of Department to track full project costs
• Managing project variations in discussion with the relevant Sales Deal Owner/technical designer
• Mentoring junior team members
• Contributing suggestions for process improvements within the PM team

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Background in AV project management within commercial construction site settings
• Strong AV technical knowledge
• Demonstrable ability to understand technical documentation to deliver on customer expectations
• Confident working with drawings, site surveys, health and safety frameworks, technical specifications and programme scheduling, in coordination with site contractors, material procurement, internal and external labour resource planning, financial agreements, and project commissioning/variation completion/aftercare
• Project management experience gained in an organisation within a relevant sector, with the ability to multi-skill across a broad range of activities
• Commercial acumen, with financial management experience in a similar role
• H&S compliance knowledge
• Holder of a valid driving licence (valid for driving in the Netherlands/EU), with willingness to travel to customer sites as required and to work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

Desirable:

• Recognised project management certification
• Technical qualification/experience in IT installation
• H&S management certification (e.g. SSSTS or Dutch/EU equivalent)
