In this role, you will lead and develop a team of approximately 15 co-workers, creating an environment where people can grow, perform, and succeed together.

You are adaptable, solution-oriented, and willing to think outside the box, while also thriving in an environment with clear rules, processes, and high standards for quality and food safety. You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview in a fast-paced environment, and are able to turn ideas into action.

You will be responsible for the operation and development of the Bistro. As part of a new initiative in IKEA Denmark, the Bistro will also provide breakfast for our customers. In this role, you will create an inviting, well-organized, and high-quality breakfast experience that welcomes customers and gives them the best possible start to their IKEA visit. Key responsibilities (title) A day in your life with us Key responsibilities (text) As a Team Leader in the Bistro, you will be a visible and hands-on leader, working closely with your team to create the best possible experience for our guests. Much of your day will be spent on the floor, coaching and motivating co-workers, supporting high service standards, and ensuring that both the breakfast operation and the Bistro are always welcoming, efficient, and ready to serve our guests.

You will be responsible for creating the right conditions for your co-workers to succeed – from delivering a great breakfast experience at the start of the day to maintaining excellent service and quality throughout the Bistro’s operating hours. Through clear leadership and continuous follow-up, you will ensure that your team works effectively, follows established procedures, and consistently meets IKEA Food’s high standards for service, quality, food safety, and hygiene.

At the same time, you will closely monitor business performance, identify opportunities to grow sales, and ensure the successful execution of campaigns and commercial activities. You will work in close partnership with the Food Manager, fellow Team Leaders, and colleagues across the store to support IKEA Food’s goals and create great experiences for our guests every day.   • Working hours are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. As part of the role, you can expect to work 1–2 evenings per week and every third weekend to support the daily operation and ensure a great experience for our guests.
  • Salary is based on qualifications and in accordance with IKEA’s salary policy.
