About the role

You will operate at the intersection of financial reporting, business performance, governance and process improvement, making a direct contribution to the continued growth and professionalization of Prodrive Technologies.

Beyond reporting, you will act as a key expert within Finance, driving continuous improvements in reporting processes, strengthening internal controls, and contributing to the further professionalization and digitalization of the Finance function.

About the department:

Our Finance organization consists of approximately 30 professionals based at our headquarters in Son, the Netherlands. We combine expertise across financial reporting, business control, treasury, tax, ESG, financial / salary administration and internal control within one integrated team.

Finance is closely connected to our operations, R&D activities and manufacturing facilities. This proximity enables a deep understanding of our business drivers and allows Finance to actively contribute to strategic decision-making.

As a rapidly growing international technology company, Prodrive continuously invests in automation, digitalization and process improvement. The Finance team plays a key role in ensuring that financial information remains reliable, scalable and decision-useful in this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and continuous enhancement of the monthly and quarterly management reporting package for Executive Management and the Supervisory Board
  • Coordinate and support the annual budget, forecast and long-range planning processes
  • Prepare and review external financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and statutory requirements
  • Serve as a trusted Finance partner to senior management by explaining financial performance, business drivers, risks and opportunities
  • Translate complex financial information into clear recommendations and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making
  • Take ownership of complex accounting and reporting topics and coordinate their implementation across the organization
  • Drive reporting automation and digitalization initiatives, leveraging data analytics and modern reporting tools
  • Strengthen reporting governance and internal controls in collaboration with Finance and other business functions
  • Collaborate closely with Business Control, Treasury, Tax, ESG and international Finance teams to ensure consistent, reliable and timely reporting
  • Support strategic initiatives, including financing, business expansions, organizational changes and other corporate projects from a financial reporting perspective
  • Play a key role in the development of ESG and sustainability reporting in line with evolving regulatory requirements
  • Participate in internal audits at international locations and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and controls across the group. What we offer

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Economics
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in external audit (RA), financial reporting or corporate finance within a complex international environment
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with complex reporting and accounting topics
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management and executive stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills combined with excellent business acumen
  • Experience with reporting automation, data analytics and process improvement initiatives
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • A proactive, critical and independent mindset with a strong sense of ownership. About Prodrive Technologies
