We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Developer who is passionate about building secure, high-quality mobile applications used by millions of customers every day. You will join a feature team responsible for the authentication, signing flows, and security capabilities of one of the Netherlands’ leading banking applications.

About the role

As a Senior iOS Developer, you are responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile solutions while supporting the continuous improvement of the engineering platform.

You will:

• Develop new features using Swift for one of the largest banking apps in the Netherlands.
• Design modular and scalable application architectures.
• Build secure authentication and digital signing capabilities.
• Work with both UIKit and SwiftUI to create modern user experiences.
• Apply modern concurrency techniques using Swift Concurrency, GCD, Combine, or reactive frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, UX Designers, Security Specialists, and fellow developers.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps ways of working.
• Contribute to engineering guilds focused on topics such as accessibility, architecture, design systems, or technical excellence.

Experience

• 8+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Swift.
• Strong understanding of modular architectures, Clean Architecture, VIPER, or similar design patterns.
• Extensive experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency.
• Experience building applications using both UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Experience implementing accessibility standards and best practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean code.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bazel, Buck, Tuist, XcodeGen, or Swift Package Manager.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software engineering practices.
• Experience within regulated or enterprise environments.
