As part of their ongoing growth and investment in cutting-edge technology, they are expanding their team in Oldenzaal and are looking for a Shift Leader to lead their production team, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-driven operations across the shift.
Role Overview
As Shift Leader, you are responsible for your own production line and lead a team of around 10 colleagues, making sure the team works well together and that production runs safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. When needed, you support the team in day-to-day operations, and you actively think about process improvements while developing yourself further in a modern production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- You lead the team, give clear instructions, and support colleagues where needed.
- You make sure materials and resources are available on time so production can continue smoothly.
- You identify bottlenecks in the process, think along about improvements, and help implement them.
- You maintain a safe and clean working environment and handle practical matters for your team, such as leave requests and personal meetings.
Profile Requirements
- A completed vocational or bachelor's degree in food technology or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Food Process Operator in a production environment.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Willingness and ability to work in a continuous 5-shift rotation schedule.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and dedication to quality and safety standards.
- Good communication skills in English, spoken and written, including frequent contact with international colleagues.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary & Allowances:
- Base Gross Monthly Salary: €2,995 – €4,200 / month (depending on experience).
- Shift Allowance: 28% average monthly gross allowance for working the 5-shift rotation.
- Total Gross Monthly Salary: €3,833 – €5,376 / month (base + 28% shift allowance).
- Travel Allowance: €0.23 / km (door-to-door compensation for single trips between 10–50 km).
