The Role:

We are seeking a Data Analysis Engineer to join our Product Verification Group in Järfälla. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing complex device characterization data to support product development, process optimisation and technical decision-making across our advanced optoelectronic technologies.

You will be responsible for:

  • Analysing device characterization data across multiple design, process and operating factors to support design optimisation and process understanding.
  • Performing statistical analysis of device performance, including the impact of process variation, measurement uncertainty and test noise.
  • Identifying trends and relationships within complex datasets and providing clear, actionable insights to engineering and design teams.
  • Developing and improving automated data processing and analysis workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Presenting technical findings through graphical visualisations, reports and technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Chip Design, Wafer Fabrication Process Engineering, Operations, Quality & Reliability and Project Management.

About You:

You are an analytical and curious problem solver who enjoys working with complex datasets and transforming information into meaningful insights. You are comfortable working across technical disciplines and communicating findings to a range of stakeholders.

You will also have:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in data analysis, statistics, engineering data processing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data processing, automation and database technologies.
  • Experience analysing complex datasets and applying appropriate statistical and analytical methods.
  • An understanding of measurement variation, test uncertainty and noise analysis.
  • Experience with programming, scripting, databases or engineering analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate assumptions, limitations and conclusions.
  • A structured approach to problem-solving, a strong sense of ownership and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Fluent English language skills; Swedish is considered a strong advantage.
