Your mission

We are seeking a motivated and talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic international team. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of electrical engineering principles and a passion for hands-on experimentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-voltage laboratory and contribute to cutting-edge R&D projects.

Your tasks

  • Conduct high-voltage experiments and testing on systems operating above 30 kV.
  • Involved in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components.
  • Perform laboratory tasks, including chemical handling, HV equipment operation, and routine HV device maintenance, not limited to transformer, Tesla Coils, and HVDC supplies.
  • Collect, analyze, and document experimental data while ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Follow high-voltage safety protocols and maintain a safe laboratory working environment.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues across multidisciplinary teams.

Your profile

Absolute must-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience conducting experiments in high-voltage environments.
  • Willingness to relocate to Berlin, as this role requires 100% on-site in-person work.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, as English is the company's official language for all internal communication and meetings.

Good-to-haves* Knowledge of electromagnetic field generation and handling.

  • Familiarity with HVAC and HVDC system implementation.
  • Experience designing, constructing, assembling, and testing prototypes.
  • Experience with FEM simulation software such as COMSOL, ANSYS, or similar tools.
  • Experience using circuit simulation software such as LTspice, Proteus, or equivalent tools.
  • Knowledge of schematic design and electronic component selection.
  • Available to start immediately.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and chemical handling procedures.
