About MITS Industries
MITS Industries is establishing an R&D and design site in Copenhagen focused on advanced RF systems, signal intelligence, aerospace technologies, and mission-critical product development.
The site will build core engineering capabilities in RF and microwave hardware, antenna systems, RF testing and characterization, rugged mechanical integration, and the industrialization of complex radio-electronic systems.
The Copenhagen team will work closely with strategic partners and engineering teams across Europe, playing a leading role in the development, validation, and industrialization of advanced technologies for defense, aerospace, and other demanding applications.
One of the initial focus areas will be the development of an advanced aerospace signal intelligence product platform. The work will cover RF and system architecture, antenna system design, signal acquisition, embedded control, laboratory validation, mechanical integration, integration with the satellite platform, and preparation for production and field deployment.
The ambition is to build a strong technical design site capable of taking complex RF products, modules, and platforms from architecture and detailed design through prototyping, testing, validation, industrialization, and deployment.
About the role
MITS Industries is looking for a Senior Embedded Linux / SDR Engineer to join the core Copenhagen R&D team and develop the embedded software platform for advanced RF and radio-electronic systems.
You will work at the boundary between hardware and software, developing Linux-based embedded functionality for data acquisition, device control, diagnostics, networking, system services, and SDR integration. The work covers C development and, where applicable, C++, low-level hardware interfaces, Linux drivers and userspace components, high-throughput data handling, performance optimization, test utilities, and deployment of reliable production-ready embedded platforms.
You will work closely with RF and microwave hardware engineers, FPGA and signal processing engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, and partner engineering teams. You will integrate embedded software with RF hardware, SDR components, signal acquisition chains, control interfaces, diagnostics, and higher-level system integration layers.
The role requires strong hands-on experience with Embedded Linux, C, hardware-software integration, and debugging of complex systems. You will contribute to software architecture, platform bring-up, integration strategy, development workflows, and the transition from early prototypes through laboratory validation, field testing, and production release.
