Job Description

The Corporate FP&A & Business Partnering role will serve as a high-impact financial navigator for AVIV’s global leadership. Operating at the intersection of corporate finance, data engineering, and strategic steering, this role will act as a primary finance business partner to global management roles, with a core mission to revolutionize the company's financial reporting fabric.

The ideal candidate will combine elite financial modeling capabilities with exceptional data automation and analytics skills. A primary responsibility of this role is to secure and fully own the entire monthly management reporting infrastructure within AVIV, ensuring flawless top management reporting, rigorous automated quality checks, and the eradication of manual processing bottlenecks. This role spans strategic planning, rolling forecasts, advanced KPI engineering, and heavy cross-functional collaboration within a fast-moving, international technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Automation & Monthly Reporting Governance (Core Focus)

  • End-to-End Ownership: Secure, execute, and continuously improve the entire monthly management reporting cycle within AVIV, ensuring accurate delivery to senior executives, shareholders, and board members.
  • Top Management Reporting: Package highly sophisticated, automated monthly performance overviews and strategic financial decks tailored directly for top management and C-suite decision-making.
  • Automated Quality Control: Design and embed advanced automated quality checks, validation rules, and data reconciliation logic across all pipeline stages to ensure 100% financial data integrity and zero manual errors.
  • System & Pipeline Integration: Partner deeply with data analytics, BI, and data engineering teams to build scalable automated data pipelines, migrating the department away from legacy spreadsheet models to automated enterprise tools (e.g., Workday, Tagetik).

2. Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as the dedicated finance business partner to some global management and executive stakeholders, driving high-quality financial decision-making across international teams.
  • Challenge strategic assumptions, evaluate complex global business cases, and ensure operational roadmaps align tightly with AVIV’s overarching financial strategy.
  • Embed a proactive, partnership-driven finance mindset across international departments to support revenue growth and global profitability.

3. Corporate FP&A & Financial Planning

  • Lead and optimize central FP&A processes, including annual planning, long-term budgets, and scenario modeling.
  • Manage sophisticated rolling forecasts and track performance against plan with a strict focus on global strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate performance-monitoring processes across countries, ensuring absolute alignment within the corporate FP&A framework.

Qualifications Your Profile

  • Education: Degree in finance, business, economics, data analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: Several years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate controlling, or finance business partnering within a digital marketplace, classifieds, or fast-growing global tech organization.
  • Reporting & Automation Expertise: Documented track record of designing, securing, and operating end-to-end monthly management reporting suites with a heavy focus on automation and scalable data structures.
  • Technical & Systems Skills: Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities. Strong proficiency or experience with modern ERP/EPM systems (e.g., Workday, Tagetik) and data visualization/automation tools (SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar data automation software is a strong plus). Having experiences with google gsheet and gdoc is a plus.
  • Analytical Rigor: Exceptional analytical skills with an eye for detail and data quality. Ability to establish rigorous data validation frameworks.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders while building trusted, cross-functional relationships across an international grid.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (the corporate language); proficiency in German is a distinct advantage.
  • Work Setup: Ability to work on-site at least 3 days per week at the Berlin headquarters, maintaining a hybrid flexibility schedule.
