E-Commerce Intern

At Euroflorist we are looking for a motivated intern with a hands-on mentality to join our CE E-Commerce Team in Amsterdam, Netherlands as of September 2026.

In 1995, we sold our first online bouquet which cemented us as one of the first 100 eCommerce companies worldwide. Every year, we send over 3 million bouquets to 180 different countries, making people happy all across the globe.

THE INTERNSHIP

The E-Commerce team stands at the heart of our business and various departments at Euroflorist. As an E-Commerce intern, you will work closely together and report to the E-Commerce Manager for responsible for the Austrian and Polish market. Your manager will take you along the various projects and responsibilities of an E-Commerce Manager and in doing so you will be able to actively contribute to improving our platform and customer journey along the way. As part of your main responsibility it is to support and collaborate with the E-Commerce Manager in managing the austrian website.

Your main responsibilities which you will learn and help with are:

• Support in optimizing the website: category merchandising, uploading new products and prices as well as supporting in updating the homepage content.
• Conduct regular audits of the website for any issues or improvements needed.
• Assist and ensure that the website functionality and user experience are optimized.
• Collaborate with Marketing & CRM on products to push and campaigns to launch.
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing performance across various channels such as organic, paid media, email marketing, and affiliates.
• Assist in managing ad-hoc requests or projects within the scope of e-commerce.

If there is time left, you can also have the opportunity to work on:

• Help in gathering data, insights to support channel optimization efforts.
• Support in deriving actionable insights from data analysis to improve performance.
• Support in creating new seasonal assortment of bouquets and addons in collaboration with the product development team.
• Help in analyzing the online customer journey and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices in e-commerce.
• Share learnings on the latest developments in CRO, CRM, UX, digital marketing, and e-commerce.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor student in Business Administration, Communication, Media or Marketing or related.
• Meewerk stagiair/ work student.
• You are proactive, think in opportunities and you are eager to learn.
• You have a good sense of ownership and aim to reach more than just the necessary.
• You have a strong eye for detail.
• You are interested in working with e-commerce data.
• You are a team player.
• High proficiency in English and German fluency is a plus.

Timeframe and Allowance

This internship is full-time (38 hours per week), for a duration of 4-6 months with a flexible starting day. You will receive a standard internship allowance. It is possible for students to work on their own research question or project besides gaining relevant job experience.

We offer hybrid working, meaning you are expected to work 3 days per week in our office and the other 2 days from home. Our office is easily accessible by public transport (NS station Bullewijk is a 5-minute walk).
