Within the Group, you will join Group Investment & Asset-Liability Management (“GIA”) department. GIA role is to consolidate local investment decisions, leverage on financial expertise through the Group and steer investment ideas. The team works in close collaboration with AXA’s worldwide investment teams and top-tier investment managers including AXA IM to deploy capital across various asset classes. Overseeing over EUR600bn of Assets Under Management (“AuM”), GIA is organized into four teams (c.50 professionals) under the leadership of the Group Chief Investment Officer (“Group CIO”).

Within this Department, you will be part of the ALM Hub, which mission is to produce and lead ALM studies to optimize return on capital across portfolios. To achieve such mission, the ALM Hub is liaising with local investment teams. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead the production of any ALM study assigned. It will mainly involve the following activities:* Deal with Asset and Liability information and be able to treat the data and extract different reports.

  • Extract economic capital information from AWA.
  • Run Sunrise projection tool, assuring the robustness of the results obtained. Implement check controls to ensure the integrity of the data and the high quality of the results.
  • Recommend an investment strategy with a balanced risk-return profile.
  • Interact with local ALM teams to share and explain the results.
  • Potentially, develop changes within the Sunrise model.

Potentially participate in the development of the ALM projection tool. Responsibilities:* Deliver ALM analyses within a predefined timeline.

  • Share internally the results obtained with the Head of ALM or other senior members of the team.
  • Communicate with local investments team to request information, confirm intermediate milestones reached, and explain final results and ALM recommendation.
  • Participate in collaboration with the responsible of ALM tools in the development of the projection tool.

YOUR PROFILE* Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics.

  • MSc in Quantitative Finance.
  • The candidate should have working experience in L&S or P&C (from 5-10 years).
  • Good understanding of finance concepts and of the insurance business (Life, Health, P&C, assets & liabilities, reinsurance); ability to understand actuarial practices (reserves, IFRS, EEV, Solvency II)
  • Excellent level of communication in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Deep knowledge of pricing instruments.
  • Sound programming skills, including a good knowledge of Python.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in the use of projection tools and/or economic capital calculations.
  • Experience in the use of AI.

Soft skills required:* Proactive and team worker. Focused in integrity and accuracy of the results, as well as willing to receive continuous learning of actuarial and financial concepts.

  • Ability to analyze the results obtained in the ALM analyses, and being able to explain them to other members of the ALM Hub team and local investment teams.
  • Ability to a work in a multicultural environment with people with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
