Job Title: BIM Technician – Data Centre Project (Denmark)Role Description

Castle Group is seeking an experienced BIM Technician to join our team on a major Data Centre project in Denmark. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the coordination, management and delivery of Building Information Modelling (BIM) throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accurate, coordinated and up-to-date model information is available to both the modular manufacturing facility and on-site construction teams.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Design Team, Factory Production Team, Site Management and subcontractors, the BIM Technician will assist in the coordination of architectural, structural and MEP models, support design reviews, manage drawing revisions and ensure seamless communication between off-site manufacturing and on-site installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and coordinate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce and update construction drawings, schedules and technical documentation using Autodesk Revit.
  • Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP models to identify and resolve clashes prior to construction.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings with design teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients.
  • Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), client requirements and Castle Group standards.
  • Maintain accurate drawing registers, revision control and document management systems.
  • Support factory production teams by ensuring manufacturing information is current and accurately reflects approved designs.
  • Coordinate design changes between the modular manufacturing facility and the site installation team.
  • Assist site teams by providing technical support, model navigation and drawing interpretation.
  • Carry out clash detection using Navisworks and support the resolution of coordination issues.
  • Support project planning by producing visualisations, construction sequencing and installation drawings where required.
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of Castle Group's BIM processes and digital construction workflows.
  • Ensure all project documentation is managed in accordance with company procedures.
  • Represent Castle Group professionally at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a BIM Technician within the construction industry.
  • Previous experience working on Data Centre or other large-scale commercial or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or equivalent Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, BIM standards and coordination processes.
  • Experience coordinating architectural, structural and MEP models.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Willingness to relocate to Denmark for the duration of the project.

Desirable

  • Experience working on modular construction projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards.
  • Experience using Dalux, BIM 360, Revizto or similar digital construction platforms.
  • Understanding of off-site manufacturing and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles.
  • Previous experience working on international construction projects.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 175,00kr. - 213,00kr. per hour
