What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Junior Functional Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills, eager to learn and grow in an international environment. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of financial products, APIs, REST services, databases, and Agile methodologies, along with a high level of English (B2+). Previous experience or internships in banking, financial services, or Capital Markets will be highly valued.
We need candidate willing to work in Latam working hours.
Full remote position only for candidates based in Spain.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ROLE
- Gather and document business requirements under the guidance of senior functional analysts.
- Support the definition and documentation of end-to-end business processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to clarify functional requirements.
- Prepare functional documentation (Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, User Stories).
- Support the definition, preparation and execution of functional and UAT test cases.
- Assist in project tracking, reporting and status updates.
- Work effectively with different business and technology stakeholders.
MANDATORY SKILLS
- Proactive attitude with strong willingness to learn.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of financial products, preferably within Wholesale Banking (knowledge of FX, Fixed Income or Rates is a plus).
- Basic understanding of APIs, REST services and databases is desirable.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in an international environment.
- Language: High level of English (B2).
NICE TO HAVE
- Previous internship or 1–2 years of experience in banking or financial services.
- Exposure to Capital Markets or Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) environments.
- Basic knowledge of derivatives or structured products.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
