Department: Business Development Project Location(s): Berlin or Remote Education: Master’s Degree We are looking for a Business Development Manager – based in Berlin or working remotely – with expertise in the areas of digitalisation, private sector development and climate change for development consulting. We are looking for detail-oriented, proactive and responsibility-taking individuals who aim to create a positive impact through high-quality consulting services in the global development market.

Responsibilities

Acquisition

  • Prepare project proposals including methodology, project strategy drafting and overall technical offer preparation.
  • Recruit expert teams for our various projects and opportunities including contract negotiations.
  • Serve as the main point for consortium members, experts and clients.

Sectoral Responsibilities

  • Assure ecosystem visibility of Luvent in your area of expertise.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Stay engaged with current developments and best practices in your specialisation.

Experience & Skill Requirements

  • Outstanding academic credentials with a Master’s Degree in International Studies, Political Sciences, Economics, European Studies or other relevant.
  • At least one year of business development experience for donor-funded projects.
  • Experience in preparing financial and technical offers for consulting projects.
  • Strong familiarity with donor-specific procurement rules related to development cooperation.
  • Proven track record in working with multiple stakeholders (clients, consortium partners, experts).
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Full computer literacy and full proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English and/or French is a requirement, and in both languages a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrate commitment and passion for international development.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
