Legal Counsel

What you can expect

As a Legal Counsel, you will be part of the Legal & Compliance Department and play an important role in supporting ROSEN Europe B.V. and its stakeholders. You will be responsible for negotiating, reviewing, researching, and executing a wide variety of agreements while helping the business manage legal and compliance risks.

Aligned with the ROSEN Group’s commitment to minimizing legal and reputational risks, the Legal Counsel supports stakeholders in identifying potential risks and implementing practical, business-focused solutions. In addition, this role helps ensure that ROSEN Europe B.V. conducts its business in compliance with applicable national and international laws and regulations.

Responsible for:

  • Providing legal support to ROSEN Europe B.V and its stakeholder, in regards to various complex topics and areas of law and compliance (e.g. contract law, corporate law,insurance law, anti-corruption, anti-competition, data protection);
  • Providing legal and compliance advice on a wide range of issues;
  • Negotiating, drafting, reviewing independently agreements and other legal related documents (non-standard and standard legal documents);
  • Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect ROSEN Europe B.V. and/or its potential new businesses;
  • Performing pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights and liaise with external counsel;
  • Providing training to respective units on substantive legal topics;
  • Providing support to other legal and compliance team members.

What you will bring

  • A Law degree;
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience;
  • Good understanding of contract law, commercial law, compliance and associated fields of law;
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken;
  • Experience within the oil and gas industry is an added advantage;
  • Living within a maximum driving distance of one hour from our Oldenzaal location.

The provision of a certificate of good conduct (VOG) is part of the procedure. ROSEN Europe covers the costs of applying for a certificate on your behalf.
