We are developing a digital health platform for the continuous collection, processing, and visualization of medical vital-sign data. The system connects sensor technology, hardware, software applications, cloud infrastructure, and intelligent data analysis.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who can contribute across the complete software chain—from raw sensor data and hardware communication to backend systems, databases, and user interfaces.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and design mobile applications for the visualization of medical data
  • Develop cloud-based web applications for monitoring, device management, alerts, and data analysis
  • Design intuitive and clearly structured graphical user interfaces
  • Develop backend services and interfaces for communication with external systems, applications, and devices
  • Build and maintain databases in cloud environments and on local servers
  • Develop Python-based software for hardware components and sensor integration
  • Implement data acquisition, preprocessing, storage, and transmission
  • Co-Develop algorithms for processing raw sensor and biosignal data
  • Filter, synchronize, and analyze continuous data streams
  • Extract relevant parameters and identify measurement errors or signal artifacts
  • Set up, train, test, and integrate neural networks for data analysis and event detection
  • Connect hardware, data processing, backend, database, cloud, and frontend components
  • Test, document, and continuously improve system reliability and performance

Relevant Technical Skills

  • Python
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, or comparable backend and database technologies
  • Experience in frontend, web application, or app development
  • Understanding of APIs, client-server architectures, and cloud systems
  • Interest in sensor-data processing, signal processing, and machine learning
  • Ability to independently develop and connect different software components
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and hands-on working style

What We Offer

  • A central role in the development of an innovative digital health product
  • Work across software development, sensor technology, artificial intelligence, and medical applications
  • High technical responsibility and significant freedom in implementation
  • Short decision-making processes and direct influence on the product
  • Close collaboration with engineers, medical professionals, clinics, and technology partners
