Hi, I'm Marloes, Head of People & Culture at FeedbackFruits.
The Amsterdam office is where FeedbackFruits comes to life. It's where new hires have their very first FeedbackFruits moment, where teams come together naturally, and where remote colleagues from around the world land and immediately feel who we are. That matters to me, a lot.
As we grow and bring more people into the fold, I want this space to be something people feel the moment they walk in: warm, alive, genuinely ours. And I'm looking for someone who wants to own that, not because it's on a list, but because they genuinely get it.
So I'm looking for an Office Manager who understands that this is, at its core, a people role. Someone who creates that atmosphere because it's just how they show up. Who makes things run so smoothly that nobody notices, and who makes people feel so welcome that the Amsterdam office becomes a place everyone wants to be.
What you'll do:
- Own the Amsterdam office day to day: organized, welcoming, running, without anyone having to ask
- Be the first face many new joiners see at FeedbackFruits. Make that moment count
- Lead onboarding from the office side, set people up well and make them feel at home from day one
- Plan and run events that bring the Amsterdam team together: social, cultural, celebratory
- Host external guests and make sure our space reflects who we are
- Keep remote teammates connected to Amsterdam, coordinate visits and make them feel genuinely part of things when they're here
- Build the office handbook from scratch: write down how things work, ask why they work that way, and leave something genuinely useful behind
- Handle vendors, supplies, and logistics with enough ownership that nothing quietly falls apart
- Own and manage the office budget, identifying opportunities to maximize value and cost efficiency
- Lead employee circles, running the community groups that connect people across the company, keeping them energized, and making sure they feel like something people genuinely want to be part of
What you bring:
- You walk into a room and people feel it, not because you're loud, but because you're warm
- You notice what needs doing and you do it, not because someone reminded you, but because leaving things unaddressed just isn't how you operate
- You're just as comfortable planning a team event as you are chasing a vendor. Neither feels beneath you
- You make people feel genuinely welcome. It's not something you switch on, it's just how you operate
- You're organized in a way that's invisible to others. Things just work when you're around
- You're at ease building from scratch: writing things down, creating structure, improving on defaults, even without a template to start from
- A background in hospitality, events, workplace operations, or community management is a real plus, but we'll take warmth and energy over a CV every time
- 32-40 hours/week, present in the office every day (especially mornings), but we can be flexible on this!
What you get:
- 25 paid holidays per year
- A day off for your birthday
- Advantageous pension scheme
- 3 days of volunteering leave per year
- €550 Learning & Development budget per year + 3 days paid leave for learning
- Travel allowance and Swapfiets subscription
- Free access to our office gym
- Unlimited access to mental health support via OpenUp (EU, US, and AUS)
