The Junior Product Compliance & Quality Manager supports the execution of of the company’s product compliance and quality processes across a multi-product retail environment. This role is hands-on, contributing to a fast-paced, primarily e-commerce-driven retail business with additional physical store presence.

Key Responsibilities

Product Compliance Support

  • Support the implementation of product compliance and quality processes across categories (e.g., Textiles, Shoes, Electrical items, Cosmetics, Home goods)
  • Help maintain product compliance documentation (e.g., Declarations of Conformity, test reports, technical files, other information regarding our supply chain)
  • Support product safety activities, including issue tracking, investigations, and product testing program
  • Coordinate with external testing laboratories and certification bodies

Supplier Compliance Support

  • Assist in supplier onboarding and due diligence processes
  • Review and follow up on supplier documentation, certifications and audit reports

Operational Support & Systems

  • Maintain compliance databases, documentation systems, and product records

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 1–3 years of experience or internships in product compliance, quality, or regulatory affairs
  • Basic understanding of EU product regulations (e.g., REACH, CE marking, GPSR, EUDR and other supply chain regulation)
  • Very strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods environments
  • Exposure to multiple product categories (e.g., textiles, electronics, cosmetics, home goods)
  • Experience working with suppliers or testing laboratories
  • Familiarity with compliance tools, data management systems, or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
