Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design\\r\\n• Design enterprise scale Azure IaaS architectures (VMs, networking, storage).\\r\\n• Define HA, DR, and scalability strategies using Availability Zones, ASR, and Load Balancers.\\r\\n• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives (lift and shift, refactor).\\r\\n• Create and review HLD/LLD, DR runbooks, and SOPs.\\r\\nAzure IaaS Operations (L3)\\r\\n• Handle L3 escalations related to Azure VMs, disks, networking, and performance issues.\\r\\n• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes.\\r\\n• Act as escalation point for production outages and DR events.\\r\\n• Coordinate with Microsoft Support for platform issues.\\r\\nNetworking\\r\\n• Design and manage Hub Spoke / vWAN architectures.\\r\\n• Configure ExpressRoute, VPN, NSGs, Azure Firewall, UDRs.\\r\\n• Implement secure ingress using Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Front Door.\\r\\nSecurity & Identity\\r\\n• Implement Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identity, and Zero Trust principles.\\r\\n• Enforce Defender for Cloud, disk encryption, JIT access, and Bastion.\\r\\n• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and audit standards.\\r\\nBackup, DR & Business Continuity\\r\\n• Design and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.\\r\\n• Define and validate RTO/RPO with business stakeholders.\\r\\n• Plan and execute DR drills and document outcomes.\\r\\nGovernance & Cost Optimization\\r\\n• Implement Azure Landing Zones, Management Groups, Policies, and tagging.\\r\\n• Optimize cost using right sizing, Reservations, Savings Plans.\\r\\n• Monitor and control spend using Azure Cost Management.\\r\\nAutomation & Monitoring\\r\\n• Automate provisioning using ARM/Bicep/Terraform.\\r\\n• Implement monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Alerts.\\r\\n• Integrate Azure monitoring with ITSM tools.\\r\\n
