30 - PrestaShop Front-End Developer

We're looking for a skilled PrestaShop Front-End Developer to join a remote, out-of-platform engagement for our client. You'll bring strong e-commerce front-end expertise to build, customize, and refine high-performing online stores, working closely with designers and back-end developers to deliver polished, conversion-focused experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom PrestaShop themes and front-end templates using Smarty, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Customize and extend PrestaShop modules to meet specific e-commerce requirements
• Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible designs across desktop and mobile
• Optimize page load speed and front-end performance for e-commerce conversion
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement pixel-perfect UI from design files
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs and compatibility issues across PrestaShop versions
• Implement accessibility and SEO best practices within PrestaShop templates

Required Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with PrestaShop front-end development
• Strong proficiency in the Smarty templating engine
• Solid command of HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/Less), and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with PrestaShop's theme and module architecture
• Familiarity with Bootstrap and/or other CSS frameworks
• Working knowledge of PHP to collaborate effectively with back-end developers
• Experience with Git version control
• Understanding of e-commerce UX best practices and conversion optimization
• Fluency in French is a plus
