What to Expect The Tesla Indirect Purchasing team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Purchasing Associate Buyer. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain deep knowledge and understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and systems. We use in-house procurement tools and are always looking to create efficiencies and improve effectiveness. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying potential suppliers, conducting market research, supporting contract preparation, and helping structure sourcing steps to ensure smooth and efficient procurement processes. What You'll Do* Lead the RFx process by identifying potential suppliers, developing and issuing RFx documents, and

  • managing supplier responses through evaluation and selection.
  • Analyze pricing and develop cost breakdowns ensuring the most cost-effective options are achieved
  • Adhere to inhouse policies for sourcing requests, buyer planning and sourcing & contracting approvals by using inhouse developed procurement tools such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), ERP system and RFQ tool.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely completion of
  • procurement activities.
  • Resolve business queries related to Purchase2Pay processes and systems
  • Update and maintain price information in the procurement system to ensure accuracy of cost data.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to facilitate supplier contracting and compliance with internal policy.

What You'll Bring* Associate degree in a related field like Supply Chain or Business Administration

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing environment with high demand to flexibility.
  • 1-2 year experience in purchasing operational role.
  • Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to work.
  • Open-minded and able to adapt and being flexible to changes
  • A team player with hands on mentality and result oriented.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
