Working Student Graphic Design & Brand Design (m/f/d)
Remote, Germany

About us
frankeconsults GmbH is a specialized consultancy for data migration and data validation in ERP environments. We help companies transfer data from existing systems into new ERP systems in a structured, traceable and reliable way.
We combine business process understanding with technical implementation: from the first data extract through transformation and validation to a successful go-live.
As a small, specialized consultancy, we want to further professionalize our visual presence - from presentations and brand assets to graphics for our website, recruiting and client communication. This is exactly where you can support us.
As a Working Student Graphic Design & Brand Design, you will help us make our brand more visible, consistent and professional. This is not about short-lived social media posting, but primarily about reusable design foundations: PowerPoint templates, corporate identity building blocks, graphics, icons, layouts and visual standards that our team can actually use in day-to-day work.
What you will shape with us
You will support us in developing our visual presence step by step.
This includes presentations for client projects and sales materials, templates for internal and external communication, graphics for our website and LinkedIn, and brand assets that present our consulting services in an understandable and professional way.
You will receive concrete tasks and feedback from the team, while also having room to contribute your own design ideas and help shape how frankeconsults is perceived visually.
Your tasks
You will support us with:
- designing and further developing PowerPoint templates
- visually preparing client presentations, concepts and sales materials
- creating graphics, icons, diagrams and visual building blocks
- further developing and harmonizing existing corporate identity and brand elements
- creating templates for recurring communication and presentation formats
- designing website visuals, LinkedIn graphics and recruiting materials
- visually preparing complex topics such as data migration, ERP processes and data quality
- maintaining and structuring design assets, templates and brand components
- developing layout ideas for a professional B2B and consulting presence
- working with tools such as PowerPoint, Canva and, depending on your experience, Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud
What you bring
We do not expect you to do everything perfectly already. What matters is that you have a good eye for design, work carefully and are excited to learn about our topics.
You are a good fit for us if you:
- are an enrolled student, for example in communication design, media design, graphic design, visual communication, marketing, media management or a comparable program
- have a good feel for layout, typography, colors and visual structure
- work confidently with PowerPoint
- have experience with Canva or are motivated to develop your skills in it
- enjoy making complex content visually clear and easy to understand
- work carefully, in a structured way and reliably
- have a feel for professional B2B design
- like receiving feedback and improving designs iteratively
- contribute your own ideas while keeping consistency and usability in mind
Nice to have
Helpful, but not required:
- initial experience with Figma
- knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, for example Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop
- experience with corporate design, brand guidelines or design systems
- work samples from your studies, an internship, a student job or your own projects
- initial experience with LinkedIn graphics, website visuals or recruiting materials
- interest in B2B communication, consulting or services that require explanation
- initial experience with AI tools for design, image generation or content support
What you can expect from us
- Practical design work with visible results
- The opportunity to help shape the visual presence of a specialized consultancy
- Work on PowerPoint templates, brand assets and graphics that are actually used
- A professional B2B and consulting context instead of short-lived social media production
- A small team with short communication paths and direct feedback
- Room for your own design ideas
- Flexible working hours that fit your studies
- The option to work fully remotely within Germany or from our Cologne office
- Access to Udemy Business for your professional and technical development
How the application process works
We want to keep the process simple and transparent:
- Short introductory conversation
We talk about you, your studies, your interests and your previous experience.
- Technical conversation with insight into typical tasks
Together, we look at examples, work samples or typical design tasks from our day-to-day work.
- Decision and shared start date
If it is a good fit for both sides, we clarify the next steps.
Interested?
You want to make design not just "beautiful", but clear, structured and usable? You want to work on PowerPoint templates, brand assets and graphics that are used in real client, sales and recruiting contexts? We would be happy to receive your application, even if you have not developed a complete corporate design yet and do not have experience in consulting, ERP or data migration. If you have a good eye for design, work carefully and enjoy organizing, simplifying and visually clarifying complex content, your profile may be a very good fit.
You do not need a traditional cover letter. Send us your CV and a few specific sentences about your motivation. If you have a portfolio or work samples, you are welcome to link them.
