About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, IT-minded Operations & Technical Support Assistant to join our team. In this dual-function role, you will act as a right-hand assistant on the operational and logistics side, while providing direct, first-line technical support to customers experiencing after-sales issues with our interactive flat panels.
If you have an inclination for technology, enjoy solving practical technical problems, and want to build a solid foundation in logistics, supply chain, and customer support, this role offers a dynamic, hands-on opportunity to grow.
Key Responsibilities1. Logistics & Operational Support (Assistant to Logistics Department)
- Sales & Purchasing Document Processing: Support the order fulfillment pipeline by handling Order Confirmations, Proforma Invoices, Delivery Notes, and Commercial Invoices.
- ERP / Master Data Maintenance: Work with business management software (Sage or similar ERP) to pull serial numbers, update master product/customer data, and process purchasing records.
- Warehouse & Logistics Coordination: Generate line-by-line picking lists (Komm-Listen) for the warehouse team, verify serial numbers, and prepare shipment documentation.
- Customs & Export Assistance: Coordinate export documentation (ABD/MRN) for non-EU shipments and assist with carrier/pickup verification.
- Communication Management: Maintain strict communication discipline across order threads to ensure flawless tracking of order documentation and serial numbers.
2. Technical & After-Sales Support (Interactive Flat Panels)
- First-Line Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer after-sales inquiries and technical troubleshooting regarding our interactive flat panels.
- Hardware & OS Troubleshooting: Assist customers in diagnosing common issues including:
- Touchboard responsiveness and touch alignment issues
- Mainboard and power/hardware failures
- Android operating system errors and display settings
- General OS compatibility and connectivity issues
- Firmware update procedures and software patches
- Ticket & Escalation Management: Document issue tickets, guide customers through step-by-step resolution processes, and escalate complex hardware defects to senior technicians when necessary.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Approximately 1 year of experience in a technical support, customer service, or administrative/logistics role.
- IT Mindset: Naturally technical, curious, and comfortable learning hardware/software systems. (No deep prior flat panel experience needed—we will train you on the exact technical fixes!)
- Software/ERP Knowledge: Prior experience with Sage (or a similar ERP/inventory system) is a strong bonus. Comfort with standard office applications and ticket/email tools is essential.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to systematically troubleshoot technical issues over the phone or email using clear, easy-to-understand language.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data entry, serial number matching, and multi-thread email organization.
- Adaptability: Driven by new challenges and willing to balance administrative logistics tasks alongside customer-facing technical support.
What We Offer
- Full training on our complete line of interactive flat panel hardware, Android systems, and technical troubleshooting protocols.
- A direct mentorship path supporting operational logistics alongside an experienced team.
- A varied, hands-on role where no two days are identical.
- Opportunities for growth within operations, IT support, or supply chain management.
