Electrician (ELEC) | Passenger - Ferry

Join OSM Thome as an Electrician (ELEC) on a passenger ferry operating in the Netherlands. You will be part of the vessel’s technical team, keeping all electrical and electronic systems safe, reliable and in good working order for crew and passengers.

• Key responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems
• Troubleshoot faults on power distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Carry out routine inspections, testing and preventive maintenance
• Support engine room and deck departments with electrical work when required
• Ensure all electrical work follows safety rules and company procedures
• Requirements:
• Relevant maritime electrician education or certificate
• Experience as an electrician on seagoing vessels, preferably passenger or ferry
• Good knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems
• Valid STCW certificates and seagoing documents as per flag/state rules
• Good English communication and ability to work in an international crew
