Technical Support & Solutions Engineer

About the role

You join us as a Technical Support & Solutions Engineer, splitting your time between internal technical support and hands-on technical work with our clients. A smaller part of the role keeps our own team running smoothly; the bigger part gets you directly involved in setting up our clients' environments for DataMaker and our other tools.

• Based in our Vienna office, hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week on-site

What you'll do

Internal support (smaller part of the role)

• Set up and maintain notebooks/laptops for new and existing team members
• Act as the go-to technical support contact for internal tools and everyday IT issues
• Own internal admin for technical topics: accounts, access, licenses and similar day-to-day requests

Client-facing technical delivery (bigger part of the role)

• Help clients plan and set up the server environment for DataMaker and our other tools
• Lead firewall and network conversations with client IT teams to get access and connectivity sorted
• Install and configure DataMaker (and related tooling) directly at the client
• Troubleshoot technical issues that come up during setup and after go-live
• Work closely with our consultants to make sure the technical foundation is solid before a project kicks off

What you bring

• Solid, practical IT/technical background: networking basics, server setups, and general troubleshooting
• Comfortable leading a technical conversation directly with a client's IT department
• A structured, calm approach to problem solving, even under time pressure
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site client work
• Excellent English, spoken and written. German is a plus

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows/Linux server administration
• Familiarity with firewall/networking concepts (ports, VPNs, proxies)
• Prior experience in an internal IT or technical support role
• Interest in test automation and QA tooling
