Digital Marketing Manager
Fashion Cloud · Amsterdam, Netherlands
You apply on the site where the job is posted. I never handle applications.
Fashion Cloud is the leading B2B platform connecting fashion brands and retailers across Europe. We simplify the wholesale process from content sharing to ordering and are trusted by thousands of brands and retailers. We're 110 people in total based in Amsterdam and Hamburg with a strong presence across Europe.
THE ROLE
You own Fashion Cloud's online demand generation, the paid campaigns, thought leadership and digital presence that turn awareness into sales-qualified leads. You report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director and have a clear SQL KPI, a real budget, and the freedom to test, pivot and iterate across channels.
You're not a generalist. You know B2B paid channels well: LinkedIn Ads today, wherever the pipeline goes tomorrow. You understand what makes content convert, and you actively use AI tools as part of your daily workflow, not as an experiment.
You work closely with the Events & Partner Marketing Manager: you own paid and organic demand generation and brand, they own events, partner marketing and newsletters.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) delivered to Sales — this is the primary KPI
- Cost per SQL at or below target
- Fashion Cloud showing up where buyers look — found and cited in AI search (GEO/AEO) and organic
- Sharp, consistent brand and content that turns positioning into pipeline
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Demand generation
- Own paid demand generation across the channels that perform — today that's primarily LinkedIn Ads, with Google Ads run via a freelancer. You decide where budget goes and shift as channels prove out
- Continuously evaluate and test new channels**;** double down on what drives SQLs, cut what doesn't
- Build and own lead nurture flows in HubSpot — moving MQLs to sales-ready
- Build and execute thought leadership content: articles, posts, campaigns
- Own the full lead funnel through to SQL handoff to Sales
- Report on pipeline impact weekly to Sales & Marketing Director
Website & AI Search
- Maintain the website as a lead generation asset — landing pages, CTAs, conversion
- Own AI search optimization (GEO/AEO), with support from external resources
- Technical website work is handled by an external developer — you own content, structure and conversion
AI-powered marketing
- Use AI tools as core workflow infrastructure — content drafts, research, campaign briefs
- Continuously improve how AI is applied within the marketing function
Brand & content
- Own brand positioning and messaging across all channels
- Sharpen and maintain ICP definition and buyer personas; make sure all content speaks to them
- Create and publish website content — blog, product pages, case studies — based on input from Product
- Drive product positioning campaigns (Smart Rep, Wholesale 360, Digital Showroom)
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on paid B2B experience with a track record of SQL generation — you're channel-agnostic and go where the pipeline is; strong LinkedIn Ads depth is a big plus
- Deep knowledge of campaign management — segmentation, retargeting, conversion tracking (LinkedIn Campaign Manager or equivalent)
- Active daily user of relevant AI tools— this is a must, not a nice-to-have
- Solid grasp of AI search — GEO and AEO
- Strong B2B copy and content instincts — you can turn positioning into content that converts
- Experience with HubSpot or equivalent CRM / marketing automation
- Analytical — comfortable pulling and acting on your own data
- Excellent written English; Dutch or German is a plus
- Based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam
