About Eye Security
Eye Security is providing cyber security with embedded cyber insurance solutions for organisations across Europe. Headquartered in the Netherlands, we're over 190 FTEs and growing internationally, having secured Series C funding of 60 million.
We combine cutting-edge technology with hands-on expertise to detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats in real time. Our team brings together talent from intelligence, military, tech, and consulting backgrounds, all united by one shared mission: to make enterprise-grade cyber security accessible to every business, not just the big players.
At Eye, you'll work on projects with an international footprint, solving real-world challenges and helping to build a safer digital future for our SME clients and our partners.
About this role
We are looking for a Junior Cyber Security Consultant to join our Service Delivery (SD) team, the heart of Eye Security. In this role, you'll be part of a team that guides organisations through their security journey, helping them understand and improve their cyber posture.
You'll execute core tasks within a predefined process: onboarding new customers, supporting them with security questions, delivering periodic cyber-security reviews, and working closely with our technical experts. Your role is hands-on and focused, allowing you to develop real expertise in a structured, supportive environment whilst gradually taking on more responsibility.
Service Delivery sits at the intersection of product, operations, and customers, so you'll work across different teams and grow in multiple aspects of cyber security. This is a strong early-career role with a clear path to grow into more advanced consultant roles over time. You'll solve real problems for real customers, supported by experienced colleagues who want to see you succeed.
What you will do
- Guide new customers through Eye's onboarding process, helping them implement EDR, cloud monitoring, and other security controls
- Assess customer security questions and concerns, working out how Eye's resources can best support them
- Deliver periodic security reviews, providing tailored advice and helping customers understand which measures to prioritise
- Work closely with our Cyber Security Specialists, Product, Customer Success, Engineering, Security Operations, and Threat Intelligence teams to solve customer challenges
- Spot opportunities to improve how Eye operates, both technically and in how we build relationships with customers
- Learn from experienced colleagues and contribute ideas to real projects, taking ownership of well-defined deliverables
- Support second-line technical challenges alongside our first-line support team and specialists
What you will need
- Keen interest in cyber security. A formal qualification isn't required, but helpful if you have it
- Basic understanding of small to medium-sized IT networks and Active Directory
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, initiative-driven attitude
- Strong at working with customers and our partners and take on an advisory role, explaining security concepts in accessible terms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn across different areas of security
- Fluency in German and English; other European languages are a bonus
Nice-to-have
- Experience or exposure to EDR platforms (Crowdstrike) or endpoint security tools
- Basic familiarity with cloud security concepts or exposure to Azure/Microsoft cloud environments
- Any relevant security certifications (Security+, CEH) or active study towards one
- Track record of side projects, open-source contributions, or hands-on security learning (labs, CTFs, personal projects)
- Experience in technical support or customer-facing technical roles
- Background in IT networks or systems administration
What we offer
- A meaningful mission: protect organisations across Europe from real-world cyber threats
- Work with top-tier professionals from national CERTs, intelligence agencies, and leading tech backgrounds
- A key role in building an innovative product line combining effective cyber security with cyber insurance
- A remote-friendly culture with regular meetups and annual company retreats (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and beyond)
- Flexibility in working hours (Output based)
- On-Site Thursday socials to stay connected with your team
- A generous time-off policy, including wellbeing and volunteering days
- Structured mentorship and clear development pathways as you grow into more senior consultant roles
- Monthly events, a fun team culture, and real opportunities for career development as Eye scales rapidly
