As Technical Solution Lead, you will shape how Alliander secures and manages the growing number of non-human identities across applications, cloud platforms, OT systems and APIs. In doing so, you help build a secure and future-proof energy grid.
Dit ga je doen
The energy transition needs you as Technical Solution Lead
Within our Identity & Access Management Agile Release Train, we are building a new team dedicated entirely to Non-Human Identities (NHI). As the technical authority within this domain, you will set the direction for service accounts, machine identities, workload identities, certificates, secrets and application identities.
You will join at a defining stage. The team is still being formed and many of the technical frameworks have yet to be established. This gives you the opportunity to shape the vision, architecture principles and ways of working from the outset. You will turn complex challenges into clear technical decisions and ensure that architectures, standards and solutions are aligned across the organisation.
At the same time, you will lead the technical approach to resolving existing challenges around service accounts and prepare Alliander for emerging identity use cases, including autonomous AI agents.
Together, we are building an energy grid that works for everyone. As Technical Solution Lead, you will contribute by:
- defining the technical direction and solution strategy for the Non-Human Identity domain;
- designing and governing the target architecture for non-human identities in close collaboration with architects within and beyond the Agile Release Train;
- leading improvements to service account management, including lifecycle management, ownership and least-privilege access;
- establishing standards and guardrails for certificate management, workload identities, app registrations and secrets management;
- shaping identity solutions for autonomous AI agents, including authentication, authorisation and auditing;
- providing technical leadership to the new NHI team and helping to establish its ways of working and shared knowledge base.
Building a stronger energy grid together
Alliander is made up of several companies that work together to develop and manage a reliable, future-proof energy grid for millions of people and businesses across the Netherlands. Everything we do is driven by the needs of those who depend on us. With the expertise and commitment of our people, we are confident in the future of the Dutch energy system.
You will work within the Identity & Access Management Agile Release Train. Here, we develop secure and resilient IAM solutions for both human and non-human identities. In doing so, we protect Alliander’s digital ecosystem and contribute to more efficient operations.
What you bring
You are comfortable working on complex technical challenges and see opportunities where others may primarily see obstacles. You enjoy setting technical direction, sharing your expertise and building a new domain together with others. You know how to translate high-level architecture principles into practical standards and solutions.
You will be a strong match for this role if you bring:
- extensive knowledge of Identity & Access Management and experience with complex IAM challenges;
- experience with non-human identities, such as service accounts, machine identities, workload identities and application identities;
- knowledge of certificate management, PKI and automated lifecycle processes;
- experience with SPIFFE/SPIRE, workload identity concepts and modern cloud-native architectures;
- experience working in DevOps environments and with microservices architectures;
- experience defining technical strategies, standards and architecture principles;
- strong communication skills and the ability to bring engineers, architects, product owners and management together around technical decisions;
- a proactive and critical approach to using AI and automation to work more effectively.
Do you not meet every requirement yet? We still encourage you to apply. We are interested in your experience as well as your potential.
