At Matas Group, we aim to become a leader in AI-driven retail. We are looking for an AI Project Manager to help turn that ambition into concrete solutions and measurable business impact across the Group.

As part of our Group AI Transformation Office, you will work at the intersection of business, technology, and transformation – driving AI initiatives from idea to implementation and helping teams successfully adopt new AI solutions.

This is an opportunity to work with emerging technologies, collaborate with colleagues across the Group, and play an active role in shaping how we use AI across our business.

About the role

As an AI Project Manager, you will lead a variety of AI projects and initiatives – from more technology-focused projects to business transformation, adoption, and enablement.

You will report to the Head of AI Transformation Office and collaborate closely with our technology organisation, external partners, and key business stakeholders across Denmark and Sweden.

Your responsibilities will vary depending on your profile and experience, but your overall focus will be on driving the successful adoption and integration of AI across the organisation.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional AI projects from concept to implementation
• Translate business needs into actionable AI initiatives that deliver measurable value
• Drive the integration and adoption of AI solutions across the organisation
• Collaborate closely with technology teams, external partners, and business stakeholders
• Engage and collaborate with senior and C-level stakeholders across Denmark and Sweden
• Help maintain and evolve our AI operating model, including ways of working and our AI Center of Excellence
• Support teams and functions with targeted AI enablement and hands-on guidance
• Contribute to AI strategy development, roadmap planning, and prioritisation

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in project management, management consulting, transformation, technology, or a similar role
• Relevant educational background in business, engineering, technology, or a related field
• A genuine interest in AI, Generative AI, and emerging technologies
• Experience from retail, e-commerce, or other consumer-facing industries is an advantage, but not a requirement
