Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and highly reliable cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services and cloud infrastructure in GCP.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain platform services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL environments and platform integrations.
• Ensure high availability, observability, reliability, and security of platform services.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to improve developer experience and platform adoption.
• Implement and maintain cloud governance, access controls, and security best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve platform and infrastructure issues.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce operational overhead and improve service quality.
• Support networking, connectivity, and identity management across cloud environments.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
• Practical experience with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and integrations.
• Extensive experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong experience of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering principles

Soft Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures.
