The Role
Are you working in banking, lending, credit or fintech and ready for a role where you can take ownership of the whole transaction, rather than just one part of the process?
PAYALLY GLOBAL is looking for a commercially minded Credit & Investment Manager to join PA INV UK Ltd and help develop our credit and investment business.
This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, making decisions and taking responsibility. You may currently work in a bank, fintech, lender, factoring business or investment company and be looking for your next step into a role with greater ownership and commercial exposure.
You will work across the full transaction lifecycle - assessing opportunities, analysing credit, structuring financing, negotiating terms, coordinating internal teams and taking transactions through funding and repayment.
You will also gain exposure to both sides of the business: investors providing capital and businesses looking for financing.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with professional investors, family offices and investment businesses.
- Manage PA INV UK Ltd loan note subscriptions, maturities, renewals and repayments.
- Originate financing opportunities across real estate, bridging, trade and invoice finance, working capital, asset-backed lending and other private-credit transactions.
- Assess borrowers, cash flows, repayment sources, security, LTV, project economics and downside risk.
- Structure and negotiate interest, fees, maturity, security, guarantees, covenants and repayment terms.
- Take commercial ownership of transactions from origination through documentation, funding and repayment.
- Manage the existing loan portfolio, identifying credit issues early and handling extensions, restructurings and recoveries where required.
- Manage funding and liquidity, balancing investor capital, borrower deployment, maturities, expected returns and concentration risk.
- Develop new business through investors, borrowers, brokers, advisers and the wider PAYALLY GLOBAL network.
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, KYC and Finance to ensure transactions meet the required governance framework.
This is not a role where you complete one part of an analysis and pass it to the next department. We want you to understand the whole problem and help drive the solution.
Key requirements
We are interested in finance professionals with strong foundations who are ready for broader responsibility and commercial ownership.
Your background could be in corporate or commercial banking, credit analysis, corporate lending, structured finance, real estate finance, factoring, trade finance, asset-backed lending, fintech lending, investment analysis or a related area.
You do not need to have done every part of this role before.
We are looking for:
- Strong financial analysis and credit fundamentals.
- Experience assessing businesses, cash flow and repayment capacity.
- A good understanding of lending, credit risk or financing structures.
- Commercial judgement and the ability to look beyond the numbers.
- Confidence communicating with senior clients and professional counterparties.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
- Curiosity and an interest in working across different types of transactions.
- The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive projects forward.
- A high level of personal ownership and accountability.
Experience in private credit, alternative lending or working with professional investors is valuable, but not essential if you have strong lending or credit experience and are ready to broaden your responsibilities.
Why join PAYALLY GLOBAL?
This role offers something that can be difficult to find in a large financial institution: breadth and ownership.
You will gain exposure to investors, borrowers, credit analysis, structuring, negotiations and portfolio management - with the opportunity to run transactions rather than simply participate in them.
Our focus is on building a sustainable, profitable and well-managed credit portfolio, with significant scope for you to take on greater responsibility as the business grows.
We offer a competitive fixed salary together with a meaningful performance-based bonus linked to your contribution to the growth, profitability and quality of the portfolio.
In addition:
- Your birthday off
- Wellbeing benefits
- Remote working (with some requirement for business travel and client meetings)
- A performance-led environment with significant opportunity to grow
Location: Poland
If you have built a strong foundation in finance, lending or credit and are now looking for the opportunity to take ownership, solve broader commercial problems and run transactions from beginning to end, we would like to hear from you.
