What you’ll do

As Team Lead Production, you make sure the right people, resources and planning come together. You divide the work, monitor progress, productivity and quality, and are a visible presence on the production floor. You get involved yourself whenever needed and always know what is going on. Something goes wrong? You take action, involve the right colleagues and make sure it gets resolved.

You know the processes, keep the overview and are right in the middle of your team. You coach employees, help them grow in their roles and encourage them to take on more and more responsibility. You know how to get people on board and lead by example. Even when language or cultural differences play a role, you know how to communicate clearly and effectively.

You also look beyond today's production. Guided by our DAAS philosophy (Dairy as a Service), you think ahead, see what is needed and take ownership. You identify bottlenecks, come up with practical solutions and make sure agreements are kept. This ensures that production runs safely, smoothly and efficiently — while allowing us to take great care of our customers every single day.

• MBO+ level of education and thinking/working ability;
• Experience in a production environment within the food industry;
• Experience managing or supervising employees;
• Practical, organizational and technical insight;
• A sharp eye for quality, safety and efficiency;
• Strong communication skills;
• The ability to switch quickly between tasks, set priorities, maintain an overview and make decisions.
